League Update.

Dear All,

I'm back from hols and ready for the crucial season run-in.

In advance of tomorrow's update, I thought I should send you the current league table as things stand - taking into account last week's mid-week games which have had an important bearing on the title race.

Firstly, let me confirm the results of the FFA Cup semi finals.

Maclacticos 39 vs 32 Gulladuff Mafia

Harpic Amsterdam 38 vs 59 Minus Three FC

Congratulations then to Maclacticos and Minus Three FC who will compete for the FFA Cup on Saturday May 19.


Most important development in the league while I've been away is that The Dogs Ballacks have taken over from The Grapes at the top.

Both have opened up a bit of a gap to Penalty Kings in third and then another gap to Minus Three and KFC in the UEFA Cup positions.

The remainder of the top ten however are still in with a fighting chance of making Europe.

In the crucial black and red zones, the Prof looks like he's pulled clear but the likes of Gulladuff Mafia, Gazza's Piping Hots and Leteminletemout (to name but a few) are still struggling to make the cut and may have to wait until the last day to find out their fate.

Anyway, that's the scores on the doors but all could change this time tomorrow so my friends, for a brief period only, READ 'EM AND WEEP!!!
