Diving In The Box Fantasy Football League.

Welcome to the official website of the DITB FF League where members can view weekly score updates and transfer passwords, and keep up to date with all that's happening in the DITB world, with pics, games, videos and links to other useful sites. This is YOUR site so please add your thoughts, comments, jokes, etc. To use a schooling analogy, it's like the school toilets where all the lads can hang out and chill for a while. But hey... enough of my yakkin'. Whaddya say... let's boogie!

Dear All,

It's the moment that you've all been waiting for (well 16 of you anyway!).

Live from the Diving in the Box FF League Headquarters, we have the draw for the last 16 of the FFA Cup.

Ties will be played over the weekend of Saturday February 13 but bear in mind that the scores will include any midweek matches from the previous Tuesday to the following Monday.

Once again, in the interests of impartiality, Brother Johnston will assist me by drawing out the teams.

So without further adieu, let the draw commence (league position as of last Monday in brackets)

Flexysmidniterunners (P3) vs Yer Ma's Athletic (P14)

Have to fancy the home side in this all Premiership clash.

Hoofers Utd (C6) vs The Rio Chargers (C2)

And it's a very tight all-Conference affair with both teams chasing promotion. Too tight to call.

Maclacticos (P12) vs Inshallah (C4)

Another tight match pits Premiership vs Conference. On the back of a high scoring perfomance last week, The Doc will fancy his chances against the debutant this time around.

Minibabybelle FC (C8) vs License 2 Roam (C15)

The grudge match of the round as Chuckle Brother Jnr sets out to avenge his last gasp relegation in 2008 when Minibabybelle pipped him to safety by a single point on the very last day of the season. Ouch!!

Minus Three FC (P11) vs Probably the Best (P4)

A local derby as Brothers Johnston and Stevenson do battle in the second round for the second year running. As both are friends, form will count for nothing - they'll both be at Geoff's wedding next Friday as well - just to complicate things. Dos the hotel have internet facilities for those all important transfers with a hangover on Saturday morning? For your info, Probably the Best emerged victorious last season.

Brendy's Bruisers (P9) vs Joeys Monsters (C1)

The Premiership team must be favourite but the Conference leader is always a dangerous proposition. Another juicy tie to look forward to.

Support Your Own LFC (P13) vs The Grapes of Raff (P2)

Another local derby as Guru Walls and the Chairman fight it out for a place in the quarter finals. The Grapes are in good form but home advantage could even that up. Bring it on!!!

Someman4oneman (C9) vs Diaby Does Dallas (P6)

In-form Brogan should have enough in his locker to sweep aside the team with the worst name in the league without much problem.

And that completes the draw for the last 16 of the FFA Cup. To recap...

Flexysmidniterunners (P3) vs Yer Ma's Athletic (P14)

Hoofers Utd (C6) vs The Rio Chargers (C2)

Maclacticos (P12) vs Inshallah (C4)

Minibabybelle FC (C8) vs License 2 Roam (C15)

Minus Three FC (P11) vs Probably the Best (P4)

Brendy's Bruisers (P9) vs Joeys Monsters (C1)

Support Your Own LFC (P13) vs The Grapes of Raff (P2)

Someman4oneman (C9) vs Diaby Does Dallas (P6)

We know that the last eight will feature at least three premier league clubs and at least two conference clubs - the other three places could go either way (most likely to the premiership though).

Whatever way you look at it, we have an exciting second round in store.

Good luck to one and all!

Michael R.
Diving in the Box FF League Chairman
