Dear All,
It's getting harder for the Chairman to comment on the top of the Premier League table as it's difficult to see what's going on from my lowly league position - but I'll do my best.
A good week for Harpic Amsterdam, with the week's top score of 59, sees Brother Molloy move up into second place, just 16 points behind leader Minus Three FC.
You can almost smell the nerves from here and believe me that stench will only get worse with every passing week.
The ever dangerous ABCDE FC lies in third place just 9 points behind Harpic, while the top five is completed by Maclacticos and HIT THE BAR.
Feeder club MUFC and Gazza's Piping Hots are still challenging strongly for a European place, then it's a drop of 20 points to the ominous figure of The Professor, ahead of Diaby Does Dallas, the Blue Monkeys and the disappointing (and extremely unlucky!!!) Grapes.
At the bottom of the table, it's looking grim for Minibabybelle FC and The Prince of Darkness, while unbelievably the Colonel has managed to leapfrog True Blue Strikers and escape from the relegation zone for the first time - giving hope to all you no hopers out there.
Brendy's Bruisers, meanwhile, face a nervous few weeks as one bad slip and he too could be in the proverbial. Worrying times indeed for Brother Devlin, and anyone who might get on his bad side at the AGP if he goes down!
In the Conference League, probably The Best still enjoys a healthy lead, despite an average score by his own high standards. Bazkinginglory is looking good for a return to the premiership while that third all-important promotional spot looks like a direct fight between Flexys Fairies and Boys of Summer. Very exciting!
At the bottom, there is still plenty to fight for. Even though Cool Dude Zoo must again be hot favourites to finish bottom of the heap, any of the bottom five could still be relegated. No surprise to see the Fernandos and Virgin Surfers down there too - while Real Goldfish look like they too have what it takes to be 'perennial strugglers' for years to come.
As mentioned earlier, Harpic Amsterdam was this week's top scorer with 59 points, ahead of KFC Academical on 57, with Making History, The Grapes of Raff and Hoofers Utd all accumulating 55 points.
In a relatively high scoring week, Brendys Bruisers hang their heads in shame with just 15 points. Yer Ma's Athletic (20) and Mersey Miracles (24) were the next lowest scorers.
With Man Utd not playing this weekend, we could see quite a few changes at the top and bottom of each division, so wise use of transfers could be the key.
This week's password is sick note ANDERTON.
That's it for this weeks folks. Without further adieu........
