Diving In The Box Fantasy Football League.

Welcome to the official website of the DITB FF League where members can view weekly score updates and transfer passwords, and keep up to date with all that's happening in the DITB world, with pics, games, videos and links to other useful sites. This is YOUR site so please add your thoughts, comments, jokes, etc. To use a schooling analogy, it's like the school toilets where all the lads can hang out and chill for a while. But hey... enough of my yakkin'. Whaddya say... let's boogie!

Dear All,
It seems like ages since I’ve been in touch with the international break and then no update last week - for which I apologise.
Believe it or not, sometimes I have better and more important things to do than send a load of in-bred reprobates emails about football!  I hope that doesn’t cause any offence – none intended! J
Anyway, being the slack-jawed yokels that you are, I can hear you all chomping at the bit to hear about the latest movers and shakers in the DITB League - and to laugh at Kevin McCauley of course!
Turning firstly to the Premiership, Harpic Amsterdam continues to lead the way with more points, and indeed more goals, than anyone else.
Brother Molloy is the first of us to pass the 400 point barrier, ahead of The Professor (surprise surprise!!), Premiership debutant VUVUZOLA FC and Probably The Best.
Defending champions The Grapes of Raff are still clinging on to 5th position - despite having Cesc Fabregas, Dedryck Boyata, Jamie Carragher, Richard Dunne and Scott Carson in my team!!!
In a very tightly packed top 10, okay then... top nine, only 29 points separate second place from ninth, with Brother Brogan threatening as usual, Brother Shields making progress (having undoubtedly turned to his beloved Chelsea again for inspiration), and Brother Sheehy flattering to deceive.  Maclacticos, as always, also continue to hang around like a bad smell.
Fast forwarding through the realms of mid table mediocrity to the quicksand of relegation, Minus Three FC as promised has (temporarily?) escaped the dropzone, to be replaced by the Busted Sofas with the human yoyo Gulladuff FF not far behind.
Then, here comes the funny bit, almost 50 points further back and stranded at the bottom off the table is perennial struggler KFC Academical.
Even at this early stage, maybe Brother McCauley has pushed the annual Houdini act a step too far.
In the Conference League, the Rio Chargers continue to lead the way but by only a single point from Joey’s Monsters .  Brother McCabe will be hoping that last year’s experience of leading from the front, only to fill his togs at the last minute, will stand him in good stead this year.
Boys of Summer occupy the third promotion place ahead of Stickshifter United, Bazking in Glory and a plethora of also-rans.
And at the bottom, the lowest of the low, we once again see Real Goldfish.  Chuckle Brother Junior can’t afford to smile either in 19th place, nor can the appropriately titled Gunning for Glory – but at least they’re within single digits from safety.
Arguably the biggest surprise of the season so far is that Cool Dude Zoo is in mid table, which is definitely good news for anyone currently in the bottom three, as surely it’s only a matter of time...
Highest scorer in the DITB League this week is The Blue Monkeys on 51 points, ahead of Joeys Monsters on 48 and Bazking on 45.
Lowest scorers were The Busted Sofas on 16, Real Goldfish on 18 and Inshallah on 21.
So that’s it for this week folks.  Remember it’s a marathon not a sprint so plenty of time yet to turn things round (or throw it all away).
Keep the faith.  Until next week..........
