Dear All,

Not much change at the top opf the Premier league as Harpic Amsterdam continues his journey towards a first league title, ahead of Minus Three FC and ABCDE FC.

The Blue Monkeys and Diaby Does Dallas complete our top five but Making History, Maclacticos and HIT THE BAR are still in contention for Europe.

The bottom of the table is once again where all the action is...

Just two weeks after pulling himself out of the relegation zone and building a nice cushion, The Prince of Darkness is right back in the thick of it again, and this time it looks like there's no escape.

All the other teams in the bottom five are scoring well but either one could still go down. At the same time, any of them (and I include Minibabybelle) could still survive. On current form, Brother Sheehy looks down and out though.

However, there are still two league matches and a cup final to turn it around and anything can happen in two weeks!

In the Conference league, a good week sees probably The Best secure his top spot, and promotion as Conference League Champion, while Sheer Kidology has opened the door a little to give Flexys Fairies and Boys of Summer a sniff of promotion, while Bazking still hangs on by his coat-tails. The Busted Sofas' late run continues but the league might just end a week or two too soon. Who knows - if Brother Donnelly has plenty of transfers left, he could still pull a rabbit out of the hat on Cup Final day.

Assuming that Virgin Surfers and Cool Dude Zoo are already down, the third relegation place is still up for grabs and once again, it's the turn of Real Goldifsh to keep the seat warm.

Did I mention already that Brother McAvoy could become the first manager ever to be relegated in two successive seasons (I'd actually need to check that out but it sounds good!). His best chance of survival is the Dirty Dubs while Mersey Miracles might also throw him a lifeline. The Fernandos surprisingly look safe.

This week's highest scorer was The Busted Sofas (55), followed by ABCDE FC (53) and HOWRTINGS (48).

Lowest scorer was Prince of Darkness with just 16 points, followed by Mighty Con Villa (19) and Cool Dude Zoo (20).

With just three league games (for most teams) and the FA Cup Final to go, it's looking mighty good for league leader Harpic Amsterdam.

All those years of crying have eventually paid off for Brother Molloy who is surely now set to add his name to the illustrious list of DITB winners with a 51 point lead over Minus Three FC.

But the really exciting action this year is in the relegation zone where the teams at the bottom have suddenly woken up and remarkably given themselves a lifeline.

Even Minibabybellefc is now only 36 points from safety, while the Prince has been dragged back into the dogfight.

Looking at the bottom of the league, there are now six teams who could still face the drop this season. Squeaky bum time or what!

The Conference League is all but over too with probably The Best looking a sure bet to finish ahead of Sheer Kidology, themselves making an imediate return to the Premiership.

Flexys Fairies are favourites to clinch that third promotion spot with a 20 point cushion but Boys of Summer and Bazkinginglory still have a shout. A very late run from The Busted Sofas leaves Brother Donnelly 59 points off promotion but it looks like the season will end just too early for him.

The battle is still on to see who will join the Virgin Surfers and Cool Dude Zoo in relegation to Division Three.

Brother McAvoy's form at the bottom of the table has been up and down like the proverbial hoor's drawers (well more down than up to be honest) but he has bought himself a momentary reprieve this week. However, he sits just four points clear of the Dirty Dubs in the battle for Conference League safety (those words just don't seem to go togtehr at all!).

The Mersey Miracles are still in trouble too, while The Fernandos should really have a big enough cushion to avoid the drop this season (for a change).

But really folks, we all know what's so great about this game and football in general. Everything I've just written could turn out to be rubbish.

Expect the unexpected my friends. Anything can happen and it usually does.

Just ask the Chelsea supporters amongst us.

With just four games of the league season and a cup final remaining, it's starting to look mighty good for league leader Harpic Amsterdam.

And to rub it in, he posts weekly score of 88 points to say 'catch me if you can' and pull away from Minus Three FC and ABCDE FC.

Diaby Does Dallas is making up good ground, moving into fourth position with the week's highest score, a massive 95 points - but his run may have come a little too late to clinch the title. Never say never though.

No surprise to see The Professor in the remaining UEFA Cup slot (sorry Europa League!). Elsewhere, a score of 91 points for Gazza's Piping Hots keeps The Grapes in the bottom half of the table and looking like he might stay there for the first time in history.

The relegation battle is developing into a real beauty as more teams reluctantly get involved.

Our bottom three might consist of Minibabybelle, True Blue Strikers and KFC Academical, but Gulladuff FF, Yer Ma's Athletic and Prince of Darkness aren't out of the woods just yet.

You can expect at least one of the latter three to unexpectedly go down at the end of the season, and at least one of the bottom three to make a miraculous escape.

Yer Ma's Athletic, indeed, were the week's worst scorers with 18 points, while HIT THE BAR's sudden demise continues with 23 points. One minute Brother Crudden was in contention for the title, the next he's cruelly exposed as a bottler of the highest degree.

In the Conference, Probably The Best is still the clear favourite to win the league with Sheer Kidology, Flexys fairies and bazkinginglory fighting it out for the other two promotion places. Boys of Summer have lost some ground at the all important stage.

At the bottom of the table, Virgin Surfers are nailed on to come last with Cool Dude Zoo also certs to go down. The third relegation spot is a different story as Real Goldfish continues to fight tooth and nail to avoid being the first team ever to be relegated from the Premiership and Conference in consecutive seasons. However, the Dirty Dubs and Mersey Miracles may yet throw Brother McAvoy a lifeline.

Remember, as we enter this weekend, that scores in the final few weeks can be crazy and anything can happen.
