Dear All,

Firstly, thank you to all managers who made an appearance at last Saturday's annual ACP. Some 16 teams were represented along with a few blow-ins so, as you can imagine, copious amounts of alcohol were consumed and Sunday was a write-off for most.

Anyway, back to the important business of the DITB League.

After a lot of bumming and blowing, The Blue Monkeys team have lost their position at the top of the Premiership to Minus Three FC.

Brother Shields admitted on Saturday that he did not enjoy life at the top of the table, and the pressure that comes with it. Once again, for the second time this season, it's Brother Johnston's turn to take the top spot, a position that is somewhat of a hot potato at the moment - particularly to those managers who don't have the required experience to handle it.

Whilst Mssrs Johnston and Shields top the table, the next three places are taken up by multiple trophy winners Making History, Maclacticos and The Grapes of Raff so there doesn't seem to be much room for slip-ups.

Surprisingly, Cherry United were the Premiership's top scorers with 60 points this week - a score that will be a dagger into the heart of relegation-threatened KFC Academical, who named Brother Cherry as a likely candidate to take his place in the bottom three by the end of the season. Brother McCauley now lies 30 points adrift of safety, although he was quite confident that he would catch a number of so-called "no hopers" by May. Too good to go down? We'll see!

Other top scores in the Premier League this week came from Minus Three FC (58) and Gulladuff FF (51).

While KFC and Minibabybelle are the most likely relegation candidates at this moment in time, the thrid position is really up for grabs with the whole bottom half of the table still in contention to go down to the Conference.

Never worry though, the season is still only about a third of the way through. Remember that Shieldsy was almost 40 points clear a few weeks back and now he's 13 points behind son anything can happen.

And it usually does!

The Premiership's laughing stocks this week are Yer Ma's Athletic (20), Harpic Amsterdam (22) and Making History (24) - not exactly disastrous scoring but someone has to be pointed out!

Overall it's good to see the Premier League break into the top 1000 super leagues but I expect us to do even better as we go forward.

Finally, this week's transfer password is, and I kid you not, WAGSTAFF.
