Week 17 Update

Dear All,

A quick and hearty congratulations this week to Brendy's Bruisers whose top score of 78 points eases Brother Devlin into fourth position in the DITB Premiership.

Ominously The Professor moves into 5th with an impressive 71 points, whilst elsewhere Gulladuff FF scored 63 points to secure second place in the Conference League.

In the face of such high scores, it's been a terrible week for Cool Dude Zoo with 14 (still rock bottom of the Conference), The Dogs Ballacks with 16 (bottom half of the Premiership) and The Busted Clampets with 24 points (bottom half of the Conference).

Harpic Amsterdam will be cacking himself as he now looks down from the top of the Premiership on all other competing teams, whilst the Prince will be reading and weeping at not only losing his season long lead in the league to Brother Molloy, but also being overtaken by self-professed football guru Walls. Still, only three points separate the top three teams in the best league in the world.

In the worst league in the world, Yer Ma's Athletic still leads from Gulladuff FF and Gazza's Piping Hots - all looking good for promotion at this stage. I'm sure a few chasing teams will have something to say about that though!

I've heard back from 12 managers so far regarding the date of the ACP in January.

Once again, the proposed dates are January 12, 19 and 26 - can anyone who has yet to reply, please do so immediately, indicating your preferences.

Next week Brothers Johnston and Nightingale will be helping me with the draw for the FFA Cup - the first time we'll potentially see some real giant-killing in action as teams from the Premiership take on teams from the crap league.
