Week 6

Dear All,

Another week bites the dust... and another four transfers, if your team is anything like mine at the minute!!!

Some managers' starting line-ups have clicked immediately but for other poor souls it's been one tale of woe after another.

Let's see who's laughing and crying this week.

The week's highest score of 58 points saw the Prince of Darkness leapfrog Harpic Amsterdam to occupy top spot in the Premier League, by a single point.

Au Revoir Thierry14 (awful name Wallsy!!!) is sitting comfortably in 3rd position with a number of managers fighting it out for the UEFA places.

It's been a poor start for twice league champion Rafa's Goatee who is already 22 points adrift at the bottom of the league and possibly facing a relegation dogfight in the months ahead.

True Blue Strikers and Cherry United keep Brother McDermott company in the dreaded drop zone.

Yes it's been a tough start to the season for some due to injuries, suspensions and poor form but always remeber there's probably someone worse off than you - unless you're Rafa's Goatee or Cool Dude Zoo that is.

Hello, I'm back again!!! I suppose I have to say a few words about the duffers in the Conference League too! :-(

Yer Ma's Athletic continues his early form with a score of 53 points taking his total to 235, almost 50 ahead of his nearest rival.

Brother Jones is actually in 329th position OVERALL which is quite a feat, considering there are more than quarter of a million teams taking part. Only a matter of time before he s**ts himself though. ;-)

Steprightin has an 18 point cushion in second place while the third remaining promotion place is keenly contested by You'llneverwalkalone and The Busted Clampets.

After a poor start, Fernando Muppetorres is making good ground while Cool Dude Zoo, as expected really, continues to languish at the bottom of the league (both leagues in fact!).

Despite Yer Ma's magnificent points tally, a look at the League of Super League positions shows the gulf in class between the two divisions.

Week 4 Update.

Dear All,

Week four has only just come to an end and already we have the disruption of an international break, giving us all time to reflect on our start to the season.

It's been an odd start to the season without much crying from Brother Molloy but let's face it, how could he be moaning when he is perched proudly on top of the Premier League!!! Yes it's been a great start for Harpic Amsterdam who along with the Prince of Darkness and Au Revoir Thierry14 are sitting pretty in the Champions League places.

Maclacticos and Sheer Kidology occupy the UEFA Cup places at this early stage, just ahead of Flexys Fairies, Kirbs Crawlers and a host of others.

Top scorers in the Premiership this week are Brother Walls (48), Harpic (47) and Maclacticos (42), whilst Cherry United (20), KFC Academical (20) and True Blue Strikers (21) were the teams with lowest points during week four.

Twice league champion Rafa's Goatee, having just survived the cut at the end of last season, is already leaving himself with a lot to do with just 66 points in total, more than 100 points off the lead!!!

Steprightin and You'llneverwalkalone occupy the remaining promotional places. A good week for Fernando Muppetorres, whose impressive 49 point total takes him out of the humiliation zone and above Con Villa, Joeys Monsters and the hapless Cool Dude Zoo.
